I have had a lot of people come into my shop the moment I opened looking for the normal: toys, lubricants and porn. However, what they did not expect to come with this shop is me. My pictures are on all of my marketing materials. From my rack cards to my business cards, my pretty face is on it.
One day I had a young gentleman come in and purchase some BDSM gear. I handed him my rack card to put in his shopping bag and he looked at me puzzled and asked, “Do you have an Only Fans?!” Shocked at the question, I let him down easy and told him that it was not for me, but I am flattered. He then explained that with my looks, I could make some extra money on the side just by using my pictures I have in my shop.
So I pondered the idea for a bit.
Then a slough of customers began coming in telling me about their Only Fans pages and how much they can get in a month. Albeit, it took them years to get to that amount of followers. I began asking them questions on how to navigate the site. My curiosity began to soar, let alone, my entrepreneurial mind only saw marketing and financial potential.
About a few months ago, I signed up for Only Fans and put out some of my naughtier modeling pictures not made for social media. As my popularity began to take off through my social media accounts, I began to receive requests for more in my private messages.
A light bulb went off.
I began sending these individuals my Only Fans link. Since then, it has slowly but surely, taken off like wildfire.
So much so that I began to test my own products. Exclusively only to my followers who want to subscribe and see for themselves how my products are put to use. That’s when I started receiving personal requests for extra money.
I can confidently say that it has generated a substantial amount of savings for my low months here at the shop. Not just that, but when I have other content creators come into the shop, we share each other’s content and constructively critique them accordingly. It has opened up a whole new support system that I never thought imaginable.
Sometimes my subscribers come in the shop to actually purchase something that I tested on my Only Fans. It has set a whole new definition of getting your customers to become comfortable in discussions.
